Ogilvie Fire Protection Awarded Highly Commended Fire Safety Installation Company of the Year

April 2024

Ogilvie Fire Protection has been designated 'Highly Commended' for Fire Safety Installation Company of the Year at the Fire & Security Matters Awards 2024, held on 12 June at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

The category recognises contractors working to the highest standards in fire safety installation. Ogilvie was shortlisted against some of the largest names in the industry, and placing among them says a lot about the quality the team produces on site.

The recognition is shared. Karbon Homes, a housing partner Ogilvie works with closely, was also nominated. It reflects a joint commitment to getting fire safety right in the buildings people live and work in.

That commitment matters. Poor fire protection work often goes unnoticed until it is tested, and by then it is too late. Awards like this reward the firms that treat every seal, joint and barrier as if a life depends on it, because one day it might.

"I'm proud of what the team has achieved," said Bruce Ogilvie, CEO of Ogilvie Fire Protection. "We're a smaller firm up against much bigger players, and being Highly Commended puts us in that company. It reflects the standard our installers hold themselves to on every job."

Ogilvie was built on a simple belief. Fire safety should go beyond compliance, and quality should be something you can prove. Being recognised at this level shows clients and partners that the standard holds up.

The team is now focused on the work ahead: passive and structural fire protection across Scotland and the North of England, delivered to the same standard that earned the recognition.
